The human line, June 2026
995 inbound calls arrived in a single month. 44% went unanswered, including 94% of after-hours calls.
Every missed call is a customer who may dial the next company on the list.
What the agent did
Across 58 distinct callers, the agent placed 61 bookings—roughly six per week—while the office was closed, asleep, or already helping someone else.
61 AI-driven bookings recorded in the “Tulip Bookings” calendar from 738 answered calls.
What it collected
$3,263 in collected revenue was verified in HouseCall Pro across a 15-customer sample selected in booking order, with no cherry-picking. Nine of the fifteen became completed jobs: a 60% conversion.
- Four brand-new customers whose system history begins after the agent booked them produced $2,130 of the sample.
- Two new recurring plans created on the call represent $5,090 of future visits already scheduled into 2027.
What we can—and cannot—prove
The verified number is $3,263.
That figure comes from a sample of 15 of 51 genuine callers, not the full total. Extrapolated across all 51, it comes to roughly $11,100 in ten weeks. That is an extrapolation, and we label it plainly.
Five of the 15 bookings never became scheduled jobs, revealing a booking-to-job leak we have since closed. A results page with no methodology note is hiding something. This one is not.
What this means for your business
Pull one month of call logs, count the calls you missed, and multiply by your average job value. The number is usually uncomfortable.
Then test the agent with the question most demos avoid: ask it to price something absurd. A well-built agent should escalate—not invent a number. Ours escalates every time.
Do not take our word for it.
